v01: David

David changed the sky, added a water plain, took the lower tunnel away, moved the terrain a bit, modified the rock materal and added a few lights.

v02: Horo

Horo re-introduced the lower tunnel, set the water more transparent and lowered the surface level. Then, the rock slope at right was changed and all lights, except the one at the far end of the right tunnel were removed. A coloured radial light was set beneath the water surface, another radial light set behind the camera. The camera was set from landscape to portrait.

v03: David

That damn tunnel rr10 had driven David nearly to his wits end! For three hours he tried everything he could think of to eliminate the strange clipping problems on the LHS bottom corner of the image, he finally concluded after much hair pulling that the flaw was in himself for not being able to let go and not in bryce for being unable to handle the boolian intersection of so many surfaces — curious bugs, he's had them before, hovering incomplete shadows and wafer thin 2D surfaces with only one side … distance mapping was the thing that gave the game away for him and that kinds showed him how irrovocably broken the whole thing was — so then he decided to try and replicate the whole thing with terrains — but that didn't have the same pleasing surface qualities … so he ditched the cave system, rescued one cave and rebuilt it with less elements in the hope that it can be expanded upon in a way which will not lead us back into such trauma. Oh and he's sunk an octopus into the water which he's tried to retain the effect of.

v04: Horo

Horo changed the refraction index of the water from 1.33 to 1.15, moved and rotated the octopus, added 2 fishes, some vegetation at the ceiling and a water curtain.

v05: David

David turned the water plane into a terrain to give a little ripple effect and added some splashes to the falling water and a couple of statue heads (Easter Islands) to the rocks around the walls just in case someone takes the trouble to look.

David

v06: Horo

Horo added a manta fish and a turtle. He thinks this is it — there is possibly already too much.

v07: David

David essentially moved the camera a bit back and widend its angle a bit.
